2. About this website
This is an informational website. It has no user accounts, no online booking and no contact form, so enquiries are made directly by email or phone. We only process the data described below.
3. Data we process
When you contact us
If you email or call us, we process the details you choose to share (such as your name, contact details and the content of your message) in order to respond and to discuss a possible charter. Legal basis: the performance of pre-contractual measures and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Server log files
When the site is accessed, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information that your browser transmits, for example your IP address, browser and device type, and the date and time of the request. This is necessary to deliver the site reliably and securely. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies & analytics
A small cookie stores your consent choice so we don’t ask again on every visit. Only with your consent do we use anonymous analytics to understand how the site is used. You can give, change or withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie settings. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by a third-party provider that processes the technical data above on our behalf as a processor, under a data-processing agreement. Data may be stored on the provider’s servers.
5. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary with service providers acting on our instructions (such as hosting and, where consented, analytics), or where we are legally required to do so.
6. International transfers
Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required to meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data and to request its rectification or erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at team@w-sailingyacht.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Malta, this is the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or legal requirements. The current version always applies.
